Nearly $3M Boosts BioCrossroads

Subscribe NowThe state’s life sciences initiative has received nearly $3 million from Indianapolis-based Lilly Endowment Inc. BioCrossroads, which is marking its 15th anniversary, says the two-year round of funding will support charitable, educational and scientific initiatives. Programs associated with BioCrossroads include the Indiana Health Information Exchange, OrthoWorx, AgriNovus Indiana and the Indiana Biosciences Research Institute.
Chief Executive Officer David Johnson says "BioCrossroads was set up to be a catalyst for the life sciences and pursue opportunities that would benefit and bolster the sector; and to collaborate with academia, university and philanthropy partners .Collaboration remains at the heart of what we do, and we are grateful to Lilly Endowment for enabling us to continue this significant and transformative work."
BioCrossroads is also involved in university collaborations like the I-STEM Network and the Indiana Clinical and Translational Science Institute.
