TradeRev, a mobile app and desktop solution that facilitates real-time dealer-to-dealer vehicle auctions, announced several sales team promotions and additions. The announcement follows the recent acquisition of TradeRev by global vehicle auction and technology solutions provider KAR Auction Services.

Tobin Richer (pictured) has been named chief marketing officer. He will assume his new role in addition to his current role as senior vice president of corporate communications for KAR. Richer will be responsible for accelerating TradeRev’s marketing efforts.

Keith Crerar (pictured), executive vice president at TradeRev, currently oversees sales and operations in the United States and will take on the additional responsibilities of leading commercial accounts sales and account management for TradeRev’s U.S. and Canada markets. With more than 15 years of automotive industry experience, he previously served as vice president of dealer services for ADESA, a business unit of TradeRev parent company KAR. Crerar has been recognized through Nissan’s Club Excellence as one of the top three Sales Managers in the country for five consecutive years. He holds degrees in marketing and international trade from Sanford Fleming College.

Will Farmer has been promoted to executive director of dealer sales for the U.S. markets. He will focus on national sales growth and management of TradeRev’s five regional sales teams. Farmer previously served as southeast regional director for TradeRev – managing the southeast sales team and account management for major auto group operations. He has more than 14 years of experience as a licensed auctioneer with a deep knowledge of the industry gained as president and owner of Farmer Auctions in Virginia. Before overseeing Farmer Auctions, he worked at KAR’s business unit, ADESA East Tennessee. Farmer holds a bachelor’s degree from Roanoke College and a master’s degree from Virginia Tech.

Additionally, TradeRev has hired Vince McNeal to serve as executive director of commercial sales for TradeRev’s U.S. and Canada markets. He will continue to oversee a number of KAR commercial clients, as well. Since 2013, McNeal has served as executive sales director at KAR’s ADESA business unit. He joined ADESA in 2005 as a dealer sales representative before moving to management and leadership positions from fleet lease manager to assistant general manager at ADESA Lexington. As executive sales director at ADESA, McNeal earned a spot on the Remarketing & Used-Car Industry’s 40 Under 40 in 2016. He earned his bachelor’s degree from University of Kentucky.

Additionally, KAR has promoted Chuck Coleman to senior vice president, general counsel and assistant secretary. He previously served as vice president, assistant general counsel and assistant secretary. Coleman was instrumental in the recent negotiation and planning of KAR’s new corporate headquarters and has led legal activities related to KAR’s recent acquisitions of TradeRev, DRIVIN and Brasher’s Auto Auctions. He joined the company in 2015 from the law firm of Krieg DeVault LLP where he was a partner and brings nearly 20 years of corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions experience to the role. Coleman earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame and his juris doctorate from the University of Alabama School of Law.
