Kidd Joins Mesirow Financial
Mesirow Financial has named Bruce Kidd regional sales director of the retirement planning and advisory group. Mesirow is celebrating 80 years as an employee-owned, market-leading firm. It provides a variety of investment, risk management and advisory services to institutional, corporate and individual clients.
He has more than 30 years of diverse business experience. Prior to joining the firm, for more than eight years Kidd was a senior vice president at Walker where he led sales and business development, managed customer due diligence services in M&A transactions and served on Walker’s Operating Committee. He was the founder of BK Kidd Consulting Group. In addition, Kidd has held various roles at the Indiana Economic Development Corp., Indiana Venture Center, Concord Partners and Ernst & Young.
Kidd is a board member of various organizations, including TVF Inc., e-Imagine Inc., Lewellyn Technology Inc., and The Association for Corporate Growth. He is the founder of Concerts for a Cause, a 501-C3 organization supporting Hoosier kids and families in need. His previous board memberships include the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Premier Capital Corp., Purdue Technology Center, Ball State School of Entrepreneurship, Burton D Morgan Center for Entrepreneurship and Venture Club of Indiana.
Kidd earned his BS in biology from Purdue University.
