IWU to Offer Tuition Discount to White Castle Employees
Indiana Wesleyan University has announced an agreement with Ohio-based fast food chain White Castle. The university says it will offer a 10 percent tuition discount to White Castle employees who enroll in an adult learning degree program.
IWU says the discount applies to most degree programs offered through the adult enrollment services in IWU-National & Global. The agreement applies to all full-time and part-time employees pursuing an associate’s, bachelor’s or master’s degree.
The programs excluded from the agreement include the nurse practitioner program and doctoral, residential and graduate counseling programs. Health sciences are also excluded, except for the Masters in Public Health degree.
"This agreement gives White Castle team members an affordable way to complete their undergraduate degree or reach for that graduate education," said David Rose, vice president of enrollment and marketing for IWU-National & Global. "Our adult learning programs are set up in a convenient format for working adults, and we do a great job of working with adult students and making the class scheduling convenient for them, whether they choose to take classes online or at one of our education centers."
IWU-National & Global has more than 10,000 adult students enrolled who attend classes online or at one of the university’s 15 facilities in Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio. White Castle says it has already notified employees who are currently enrolled at IWU of the discount and will provide information to remaining employees as well.
