Art to Remember to Cut Ribbon on Ft. Ben Facility
Lawrence-based Art to Remember will Wednesday join city and community officials to cut the ribbon on its new, $4 million home at Fort Benjamin Harrison. The company, which provides fundraising efforts for art education programs in schools, is the latest business to join Lawrence Village at the Fort.
Plans for the 35,000-square-foot facility were announced in March. Art to Remember President Bill Boncosky said at the time the new space would allow for future growth.
Lawrence Village at the Fort is a commercial and residential community that was created by the Fort Harrison Reuse Authority. Boncosky will be joined at the grand opening celebration by Lawrence Mayor Steve Collier and members of the Fort Harrison Reuse Authority Board.
