She is the 14th IU faculty member selected for the prestigious organization. Newhouse is one of the nation’s most distinguished nurse-researchers and a leading expert in evidence-based practice for direct-care nurses and implementation research. Her research focuses on health system interventions to improve care processes and patient outcomes. She has published extensively on health services improvement interventions, acute-care quality issues and evidence-based practice.
