The NCAA is growing its partnership with Ball State University’s Sports Link program. Students in the program, who have worked on social media creation for the men’s and women’s basketball tournaments for the last seven years, will now have the opportunity to work on additional NCAA championships.

The NCAA says as many as 28 digital sports production students in Sports Link will work during the preseason, regular season and postseason of multiple sports to manage social media content. NCAA Director of Digital and Social Media Nate Flannery says "Ball State has consistently delivered over the years."

Ball State Senior Director of Digital Sports Production Chris Taylor says the ongoing partnership with the NCAA allows students to develop skills that are "highly sought after in today’s job market." The school has set up a dedicated student workspace in the Ball Communications Building to serve as the NCAA social collaboration center.

Students this year will have the chance to work on sports including baseball, basketball, football, ice hockey, lacrosse, softball, soccer and track and field.
