Michael Solari (pictured) has been promoted to president. He has been serving as vice president of the firm since 2012. After graduating from University of Indianapolis Solari started as a full-time associate with the firm in 2007. Under Founder Frank Short’s (pictured) mentorship, he developed the knowledge and experience necessary to lead the organization. Solari advocates on behalf of clients in industries including tourism, alcohol, insurance, public safety, financial institutions and rail & transportation.
Short will take on the role of chairman and CEO of the firm. He will still focus on the business aspects of the company and continue to be the lead on new business partnerships and client opportunities as well as being a member of the lobbying team. The change will also allow Short to spend more time on Political Bank, which he co-founded and the Indiana Public Employers Plan, which he serves as president. Political Bank is an online tool to help candidates and elected officials move their campaigns forward, and IPEP is the largest provider of workers compensation coverage for Indiana public entities.
David Brent Rosenberg has joined the firm as an associate on the lobbying team. He will work with Solari and Dalton Thieneman, another associate who joined the firm in August of 2016. Prior to joining the firm, Rosenberg served as operations officer for Indianapolis Public Schools. Prior to that he was deputy chief of staff and director of enterprise development for Indianapolis Mayor Greg Ballard.
Also, the firm has relocated its offices to a building in the Old Northside neighborhood. The firm is now located at 277 E. 12th Street, Indianapolis.
