NOTRE DAME -

Holy Cross College will Friday install Rev. David Tyson as its fifth president. The installation ceremony will take place at the Pfeil Recreation Center on the Notre Dame campus, followed by an inaugural reception and dinner.

Father Tyson was in August appointed to a five-year term as president. He had previously spent several months as interim president and, prior to joining Holy Cross, served as director of nonprofit professional development at the University of Notre Dame's Mendoza College of Business.

Friday's celebration will begin an inaugural mass at St. Joseph Chapel, followed by an inaugural luncheon. The installation ceremony is scheduled to begin at 2:00 p.m. You can view the full schedule of events by clicking here.
