Job Fairs Set For Indy, Charlestown

Subscribe NowThe Aviation Institute of Maintenance and the Charlestown Chamber of Commerce will each host job fairs Thursday. The AIM event will feature 20 companies in and out of the aviation industry, while the Charlestown job fair will have more than 30 employers from a variety of industries.
The AIM career fair will run from 2:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the institute’s campus at 7251 W. McCarty St. in Indianapolis. AIM says employers will provide guidance on applying for jobs and may hold on-site interviews for qualified applicants.
Some of the employers attending the event include Regent, Applied Composites Engineering, Republic Airways, Aerotek, Ameriflight, GE, UPS, FedEx, Gulfstream and Amazon. You can view the full list of companies and more info by clicking here.
The Charlestown Chamber of Commerce job fair, being held in conjunction with WorkOne Southern Indiana, will take place from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Clark County Fairgrounds. The chamber says the employers attending the event are looking to fill hundreds of jobs immediately.
Companies participating in the Charlestown event include LSC Communications, NIBCO, American Fuji Seal, UPS, Rauch Inc, PESG, Adaptive Nursing, Clarcor, River Crossing and American Senior Communities, among others.
Both job fairs are free and open to the public. Organizers of both events are encouraging job seekers to dress professionally and bring multiple copies of their resumes.
