The Indiana Economic Development Corp. says executives from audio technology marketing company Fuzic will join Governor Eric Holcomb and Mayor Scott Fadness to provide details. During an interview in March on Inside INdiana Business Television, co-founder and Chief Executive Officer Brent Oakley discussed the company’s origins.
Fuzic has developed a platform for businesses to create custom playlists, voice and musical elements for their locations. Oakley, whose background is in the carwash industry, and he said "we set out to create something where a business could connect with voice talent across the country — anytime, anywhere — and do it from software. And everything from technology is available for us to put that all together today. So we developed our proof of concept, we tried it out at Prime (Car Wash). It went over extremely well and from there, it kind of took off."
In June, the Fishers-based company received a $3 million round of funding.
