South Bend-based IQI, the corporate umbrella for several technology, construction and real estate companies moving into the Renaissance District, has hired several key staff members who will serve as part of the organization’s leadership team.

Pamela Devany (pictured) has been hired as general manager to provide leadership and direction to IQI’s light construction, maintenance and warehouse/logistics operations. She will ensure that all operational systems are continuously evaluated for proper operation, relevance and utilization and will be responsible for client and employee satisfaction while improving the efficiency of manpower, materials and machines. 

Patricia Norvell has been named human resources manager. In her role, she is responsible for the overall design, development, implementation, planning, administration, evaluation and management of the human resource department. Previously, Norvell worked at Quality Dining as a senior human resources manager and most recently at Qualitor Automotive as director of human resources.

Keith Knight (pictured) has been appointed chief financial officer. He will also participate in the development of the corporation’s plans and programs as a strategic partner, evaluate and advise on the impact of long range planning and introduce new programs/strategies and regulatory action. Knight joined IQI from Interlogic Outsourcing in Elkhart where he worked as VP of Accounting and Finance.

IQI Balanced Intelligence is the parent company for Global Access Point, Deluxe Sheet Metal, Lonewolf Construction, South Bend Warehouse and Distribution, Union Station Technology Center, Woodsmith LLC, International Thought Institute, Infinity Fiber and South Bend’s Renaissance District. The IQI portfolio consists of purposefully designed companies working together to leave the world better than we found it. It is solely owned by Kevin Smith of South Bend.
