Governor Eric Holcomb has appointed Britni Saunders director of the Indiana State Personnel Department. She succeeds Brandye Hendrickson, who stepped down in July after being named deputy administrator with the Federal Highway Administration. 

Saunders has served as interim director since Hendrickson’s departure. She previously served as deputy director of talent management at INSPD as well as director of talent management at the Indiana Department of Transportation.

Saunders began her career with the state in 2013 as director of INDOT’s Local Public Agency Training Program.
