The Indiana State Board of Education has unanimously selected Matt Voors as its new executive director. He most recently served as majority attorney for the Indiana Senate. Voors will begin his new role September 11.

Governor Eric Holcomb recommended Voors to the position. Voors also previously served as chief legal counsel and deputy commissioner for the Indiana Department of Transportation and general counsel for the Indiana Department of Education.

Prior to working in state government, Voors was an attorney with law firm Frost Brown Todd in Indianapolis.
