MCM has some 350 employees in Louisville, Lexington, Jeffersonville and Cincinnati and says it will absorb 30 KBP employees, including four partners.
MCM says KBP is the 17th-largest accounting firm in Indianapolis. Managing Partner Diane Medley says "it has been a long-term strategic goal of the firm to continue growth up the I-65 corridor and into Indianapolis. Our industry and consulting expertise are great fits for the Indianapolis market, and by adding new members of the K. B. Parrish & Co. firm to our existing team, we’ll be able to continue raising the bar for all of our clients, with more expertise, more capabilities and more resources."
KMB was founded in 1952. MCM says its four key practice areas — auto dealerships, real estate, nonprofits and employee benefits — "will dovetail with MCM’s current practices." MCM CPAs & Advisors focuses on audit and assurance services, tax planning, business valuation, litigation support, fraud examination, business start-up and consulting services.
