Redesigned Health Care Facility Gains Approval in Whitestown
A 96-bed senior living community in Whitestown is back on-track after layout changes by the owner and developer. The $20 million Mainstreet development will sit on 16 acres and include eight buildings. The project received unanimous approval Monday night from the town’s plan commission, the final step in the approval process.
Late last year, initial concept and development plans received plan commission approval. The latest proposal needed to be resubmitted because of the redesign, which increased the scope of the project.
Plans from Carmel-based Mainstreet Property Group LLC call for each unit to have separate rooms, bathrooms, kitchens and front porches.
The facility will be located near the nearly 180 unit, $35 million Anson Senior Living Community and Memory Care Center in Whitestown, which is currently under construction.
