Indiana Humanities has promoted Kristen Fuhs Wells (pictured) to vice president. She previously served as director of communications and development and has been with the nonprofit since January 2009. Wells will continue to lead communications and development efforts, but will also play a bigger role in developing organizational strategies and processes as the nonprofit grows. She has an undergraduate degree in integrated communications and an MBA in marketing from Butler University. Wells is a former Lilly Community Scholar from Owen County.

The organization has also hired Tom Streit (pictured) as multimedia manager and Claire Mauschbaugh as events and communications associate. Streit will oversee the organization’s presence online and create graphics, shoot photography and direct the video strategy.  He previously worked for Big Car and Indiana Mobile Canning. He is a graduate of IUPUI’s Herron School of Art and Design and served two years as a participant of the AmeriCorps Public Allies program in Indianapolis.

Mauschbaugh will help plan and implement events and assist with content creation and communications. She is a former Indiana Humanities intern and recent Butler University graduate with a degree in human communication and organizational leadership. At her alma mater, Mauschbaugh was an active member of Alpha Chi Omega, Student Government Association and Cru.
