The subsidiary of Logansport-based ULG Companies LLC did not give details of its investment in the Tippecanoe County city, but says the office will focus on servicing the manufacturing and distribution industries in the region.
Gary Hentschel, chief executive officer of ULG Companies tells Inside INdiana Business the office includes three direct ULG Staffing employees and has already provided more than 50 contract employees to client sites in the area. He says the company expects to eventually staff more than 200 contract employees out of Lafayette office.
"We have already seen significant demand for industrial staffing in greater Lafayette and absolutely expect this demand to continue to grow," said Hentschel. "With growing companies such as SIA, Caterpillar, Wabash National and their respective suppliers, and the highly visible partnership between Purdue University and the community, we expect Lafayette to be an outstanding market for ULG going forward."
The Lafayette office is the eleventh for ULG, which also has locations in California, Washington, Virginia, Mississippi, Ohio and Wisconsin.
