Indianapolis-based tech company Bloomerang Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer Jay Love has stepped down. He had served as CEO since the company’s inception in 2012 and will continue as chairman of the board and assume the part-time role of chief relationship officer.

Bloomerang Co-founder Ross Hendrickson, who previously served as chief operating officer and chief financial officer, was unanimously named CEO by the company’s board of directors following Love’s recommendation. Love says the transition has been planned since Bloomerang’s founding.

Prior to starting Bloomerang, Love served as CEO of eTapestry, Social Solutions and Master Software. He was also a founding member of the TechPoint Foundation for Youth and the founding chairman of NPower Indiana.

Bloomerang provides cloud-based donor management software designed for nonprofit organizations.
