Indiana Basketball HOF Elects Officers

Subscribe NowThe Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame in New Castle has elected officers for its board of directors for 2017-2018. The organization has also added five new board members, all of whom will serve four-year terms. The board has elected Steve Witty to a two-year term as president. Witty is a 2012 Hall of Fame inductee and served as the head coach at Ben Davis High School in Indianapolis from 1990 to 2002, earning two IHSAA state championships. He currently serves as executive director of the Indiana Basketball Coaches Association.
Among the other appointments are Denny Brady, Indiana’s 1964 Mr. Basketball and 2006 Hall of Fame inductee, who will serve as secretary. Judi Warren, a 2002 inductee and the state’s inaugural Miss Basketball, will serve in an at-large position on the board’s executive committee.
The new board members include Steve Brett, Steve Davidson, David Gadis, Steve Platt and Dave Schellhase. You can view the full list of officers and board members for 2017-2018 below:
