Bolinger first joined the organization in 1984 as field activities director. He will be succeeded at year’s end by Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Jennifer Briggs.
In 33 years with the organization, Bolinger has also served as interim executive director and full-time executive director. Chairman John Sauder says "Gary has been an outstanding CEO. He is the driving force that’s put INCPAS in the pioneering state it’s in today."
The organization credits Bolinger with achievements including revamping its organizational structure, becoming more proactive in legislation and regulations and overhauling its strategic planing process.
Chair-elect Doug York says Briggs is prepared for the new role. "She brings talent in many areas, not least of which is her ability to connect with all our members, regardless what field or stage of their career they’re in."
INCPAS celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2015 and now includes nearly 8,100 members.
