Flight Departs For Indy’s ‘Top Unserved Domestic Route’

Executive Director Mario Rodriguez says "Southern California, and particularly San Diego, has been our top unserved domestic route for Indianapolis – until today."
The San Diego International Airport flight will be offered seasonally through Southwest Airlines. "This new flight opens up direct access for businesses, particularly the tech sector, and conference destinations," says Rodriguez.
It joins an ever-growing list of recently-launched flights targeted at work and leisure travelers including:
- Alaska Airlines flying nonstop to Seattle
- Allegiant Air flying nonstop to Austin, Texas
- A fourthcoming flight to San Francisco starting in September
IND now offers a total of 46 nonstop destinations.
