Dan Evans has joined Faegre Baker Daniels Consulting as a senior director in the health and biosciences group, part of the firm’s national health and life sciences industry team. He joins the firm following a 13-year tenure as president and CEO of Indiana University Health. Under his leadership, IU Health grew from three hospitals in downtown Indianapolis to a unified, statewide health system of nearly 20 hospitals serving more than 2.5 million patients a year.

Evans has also been involved in health care policy initiatives, including the renewal of the Healthy Indiana Plan (HIP 2.0), which is a model for the national development of Medicaid. He earned his law degree from the Indiana University McKinney School of Law and his undergraduate degree from Wabash College.
