In this role, he will be the primary driver of high-value services, tools, and products that enhance opportunity and growth for UBA Partner Firms. Behn began his career in the financial services arena in 1991 where he started a full-service financial services practice. He has comprehensive field and home office experience—having worked in nearly all insurance, investment and retirement disciplines, with regard to business development, relationship management, sales leadership, operations and training and development. Prior to joining UBA, Behn led nationwide wholesale and retail distribution channels at Transamerica and Securities America, where some of his teams’ sales records are still models of excellence throughout the industry.
He is an avid supporter and volunteer of GAMA International, the world’s largest association dedicated to supporting those in sales and developmental leadership within the insurance, investments, and financial services arena. Behn volunteers at multiple charities including Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, Junior Achievement USA and is a volunteer high school varsity baseball and football coach. He graduated from Truman State University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and marketing. Behn is a featured author and speaker on innovations in leadership, having worked with Fortune 500 companies, collegiate teams, NFL, MLB and NBA organizations.
