Grand Opening Set For Community Health Cancer Center
Officials with Indianapolis-based Community Health Network will Saturday cut the ribbon on the $60 million Community Hospital North Cancer Center. The three-story, 104,000 square-foot facility will expand oncology services at the hospital.
Community Health broke ground on the cancer center in October 2015. The health system says the facility was built with input from patients, physicians and staff that aims to "create a home-like" atmosphere.
The facility aims to provide state-of-the-art treatment for medical, radiation and surgical oncology patients. It features private guest suites with family areas, natural lighting and a garden.
The ribbon cutting ceremony is scheduled for 9:00 a.m. Saturday.
