Rolls-Royce Lands Major Military Contract
The U.S. Department of Defense has awarded a major contract to Rolls-Royce Corp. in Indianapolis. The more than $372 million contract calls for engine repair on the KC130-J aircraft for the U.S. Marine Corps and the Korean government.
Work on the project is expected to be complete by April 2022. The work will be split among several locations, including Indianapolis, California, Canada, Portugal and the United Kingdom.
The Naval Air Systems Command in Maryland is the contracting activity.
