Regions Bank has appointed Amala Duggirala enterprise chief information officer. She has held senior technology roles in financial firms for several years, most recently as chief technology officer for online small-business lender Kabbage. There, Duggirala led the technology team’s efforts in advancing the scalability of its platform to drive lending for organizations worldwide. She will oversee all aspects of application development, corporate computing, information security and information technology governance at Regions. Previously, Duggirala served as executive vice president of application development at ACI Worldwide. Her experience also includes roles at British Telecom, CenturyLink and Modis Consulting. Duggirala holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Nebraska Omaha. Duggirala also studied at Osmania University in Hyderabad, India.
