Two Indiana towns are in the running to be among a national publication’s 10 Best Midwestern Small Towns. The USA TODAY 10Best Reader’s Choice ranking features towns with populations of less than 10,000 and are travel-worthy because of their "beauty, culture, shopping, dining, entertainment and lodging options."

The towns of Nashville in Brown County and Shipshewana in LaGrange County are among the 20 finalists for the award. At press time, Nashville was ranked 9th and Shipshewana was ranked 15th. The other finalists include:

  • Bayfield, Wisconsin
  • Chagrin Falls, Ohio
  • Charlevoix, Michigan
  • Cottonwood Falls, Kansas
  • Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin
  • Granville, Ohio
  • Hermann, Missouri
  • Hot Springs, South Dakota
  • Lanesboro, Minnesota
  • Medora, North Dakota
  • Mount Vernon, Iowa
  • Nebraska City, Nebraska
  • Parkville, Missouri
  • Saugatuck, Michigan
  • Weston, Missouri
  • Yellow Springs, Ohio

Fans can vote for their favorite town once per day until the voting ends at noon on April 24. You can connect to the contest by clicking here.
