Arc of Indiana Foundation Appoints Executive Director

He will continue to serve as director of operations for the organization. McKay joined The Arc in August of 2015 and has an extensive background in operations and government. At the Indiana House of Representatives, McKay served as chief of staff and was elected to two terms as principal clerk (chief operating officer). He also was fiscal analyst for the Ways and Means Committee, legislative policy director, leadership assistant, budget analyst for the Indiana State Budget Agency and a member of Governor Frank O’Bannon’s legislative team. His prior experience also includes serving as director of the Indiana State Use Program for INARF. McKay is a member of Indiana’s ABLE (Achieving a Better Life Experience) board and the city of Indianapolis Board of Zoning Appeals. In addition, he served as a member of the Indianapolis Super Bowl XLVI Host Committee and vice-chair for the National Conference of State Legislature’s Legislative Effectiveness Committee.
