Chris Williams began his career with the school in 1995 and most recently served as director of events and special projects. Williams died Saturday at the age of 47.
He previously held several other titles, including director of university communications and community relations.
His career with Anderson University also included time as director of university communications and director of media and electronic communications and as an instructor of public communications to AU undergraduate students. The Anderson graduate served as director of public relations for Auburn-based Kruse International before returning to work for his alma mater.
Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, March 16 from 2-8 p.m. at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service in Anderson and the funeral will be Friday, March 17 at Park Place Church of God in Anderson.
