Chaucie’s Place Lands Executive Director
The board of directors for Carmel-based nonprofit Chaucie’s Place has selected Jack Powell to serve as executive director. The child advocacy organization says Powell will begin his new role March 16.
Chaucie’s Place says Powell will continue the organization’s model "that is known for being highly sustainable providing excellence in childhood abuse and suicide prevention programs throughout Indiana." The nonprofit says Powell has 15 years of experience in nonprofit consulting and 20 years of experience in educational administration.
"I am pleased to partner with the talented staff and Board of Chaucie’s place," said Powell. "I am looking forward to advancing its mission to empower the community to reduce child sexual abuse and youth suicide – so critical to the future of our state’s young people."
In addition to his new role, Powell also serves on the board for the Indianapolis School of Ballet and is a member of the development committee for the Integrating Woman Leaders Foundation.
