Indy Company Acquired by German Manufacturer
A German company has acquired Indianapolis-based Advanced Test Concepts Inc. ATC says the acquisition by Pfeiffer strengthens its position in leak and flow testing technology.
ATC was founded in Indianapolis in 1988 and in a news release, the company says "ATC’s team is looking forward to joining the Pfeiffer worldwide team to enhance both companies’ capabilities and help our customers to ensure that their products meet industry requirements, safety and environmental regulations."
Pfeiffer’s history dates back to 1890 in Germany. It has manufacturing sites in Germany, France, South Korea and Romania. The company currently employs some 2,400 globally and has 20 subsidiaries.
Financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed.
