The owners of The Chocolate Moose, a 1950s-style diner, are looking to sell the property, which was built in 1898.
According to Wagner Auctioneering and Real Estate, which is handling the sale, the property is being listed for nearly $380,000. The sale would include equipment and proprietary information for the restaurant, as well as a recently-renovated second-floor loft.
While no reason for the sale is given, the listing says, "This business has experienced and displayed a consistent solid growth pattern in profitability." The restaurant closed for more than two weeks in February to undergo repairs and refurbishing.
