Indianapolis-based Springbuk has named Steve Caldwell director of engineering. He most recently served as chief executive officer of Strap, a platform for wearable and mobile health data based in Cincinnati. Caldwell launched his software career with Crosstek, where he developed web applications that included smart sensors to help keep troops safe in Afghanistan. In his new role, he will oversee the strategy, deployment and operations of the analytics platform. Caldwell will be focused on driving innovation through product, business and customer success initiatives.
