Vincennes Details Cybersecurity Partnership

Subscribe NowVincennes University has announced a partnership with the International Council of eCommerce Consultants. The agreement involves access to the cyber security certification organization’s training materials and allows the school’s information technology department to teach EC-Council certification courses.
The global organization’s certification programs are endorsed by groups including the U.S. National Security Agency, the Committee on National Security Systems and the U.S. Department of Defense Directive.
Assistant Professor of IT Greg Hirsch says "today’s IT graduate needs to be skilled in cyber security. The cyber security certification will further prepare our Bachelor of Science Degree students for a career in Information Technology."
EC-Council programs include Certified Ethical Hacker, Computer Hacking Forensics Investigator, Certified Security Analyst and License Penetration Testing. VU will begin offering the courses on ethical hacking in the fall.
