Leadership Changes Announced at Zimmer Biomet
Warsaw-based Zimmer Biomet Holdings Inc. (NYSE: ZBH) has announced the retirement of President of Americas Stuart Kleopfer. He will be succeeded by Vice President of U.S. Sales Robert Delp.
Kleopfer became president of pre-merger Biomet U.S. in 2011 and has been with the company since 1988. Chief Executive Officer David Dvorak says "I would like to thank Stuart for his significant contributions to the Company and congratulate Rob on his new leadership appointment. Rob is a strategic and customer-focused executive, and he is the right leader to continue to grow Zimmer Biomet’s Americas region in the future."
Delp has 20 years of leadership experience in sales and spent eight years before the Zimmer/Biomet merger as VP of sales for several business units. The company says Kleopfer will stay with the company for a period to help along Delp’s transition to the new role, which is effective January 23.
