Raytheon Scores Multiple Military Contracts
The U.S. Department of Defense is awarding multiple contracts to Raytheon Co. in Indianapolis worth a total of more than $75 million. The awards call for a variety of services, including the procurement and repair of parts for various military aircraft.
The company will receive more than $51 million for repairs in support of the F-18 aircraft for the U.S. Navy. Work is expected to be complete by December 2018. The Naval Supply Systems Command Weapon Systems Support in Philadelphia is the contracting activity.
The DOD has awarded at more than $15 million contract to Raytheon Co. Intelligence, Information and Services in Indy for the completion of various repairs in support of the Navy’s AN/USC-38 Extremely High Frequency Satellite Program. That work is expected to be complete by December 2019.
Raytheon Technical Services Co. in Indianapolis will receive more than $8 million for the procurement of 33 Smart Multi-Function Color Display B-kits which will be used on the CH-53K helicopter. Work on the order is expected to be complete by November 2018.
The DOD has also awarded multiple contracts worth a total of nearly $60 million to Raytheon locations in Massachusetts, Arizona and California.
