Hoops Hall to Honor 2017 Women's Class

NEW CASTLE -

The Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame in New Castle has announced the 2017 women's induction class. The latest round of honorees includes three Indiana Miss Basketball winners, the longtime Indiana All-Stars game director and a former WNBA player.

The Class of 2017 will be enshrined during ceremonies April 29 in New Castle and Indianapolis. The 1986-87 Noblesville High School Lady Millers team will be celebrated for their 27-0 season. The team is one of only seven undefeated state champions in Indiana high school girls basketball history. Bedford Times-Mail sportswriter Bob Bridge, who has worked for the paper since 1979, will receive the Indiana Fever Silver Medal Award.

Jennifer Jacoby, Rossville High School, Graduated in 1991
Patricia (Babcock) McGraw, Culver Academies, Graduated in 1990
Louise Owen, Evansville Central High School, Graduated in 1947
Bridget Pettis, East Chicago Central High School, Graduated in 1989
Julie (VonDielingen) Shelton, Seymour High School, Graduated in 1989
Renee Westmoreland, Scottsburg High School, Graduated in 1989
