IRHA Director Named National NRHA Fellow
Rebecca Sanders has been named a national 2017 NRHA Fellow. She is director of operations for the Indiana Rural Health Association. Sanders also presently serves as the program director for the Upper Midwest Telehealth Resource Center, which helps advance telehealth operations in Indiana, Illinois, Michigan and Ohio. The Fellows will meet February 6 to begin planning a comprehensive national project that is expected to advance quality healthcare delivery in rural America. After working on the selected project for a year, the group will present their recommendations and results at the 2018 NRHA Policy Institute in Washington, D.C. The NRHA named 16 professionals in total for this year. Sanders was one of two from Indiana, with Nikki King from Margaret Mary Health in Batesville, also joining the 2017 group. A 1994 graduate of Indiana State University, Sanders also holds an MBA from Western Governors University.
