Crouch Names Chief of Staff
Indiana Lieutenant Governor-elect Suzanne Crouch has selected Tracy Barnes to serve as chief of staff. Barnes currently serves as deputy auditor of operations in the Auditor of State’s office.
Barnes previously served as director of information systems in the auditor’s office before being promoted to his current position in October. He is also the former president and CEO of Indianapolis-based consulting firm ENTAP Inc.
"Tracy’s proven track record of delivering results both in the private sector and in executive leadership roles in state government demonstrate his ability to think outside the box and bring people together to find solutions," said Crouch. "He possesses the skill and experience to guide the Lieutenant Governor’s office effectively as we serve Hoosiers and pursue our mission to take Indiana to the Next Level."
Barnes earned his bachelor’s degree in computer science from Butler University and was recently appointed by Governor Mike Pence to serve on the Indiana Executive Council on Cybersecurity. He also serves on the board of directors for Indianapolis-based NXG Youth Motorsports Inc.
