LeadingAge Indiana Names CEO
LeadingAge Indiana has named Mike Rinebold president and chief executive officer, starting January 1. Jim Leich, the current president and CEO, is retiring after a 21-year tenure of exceptional leadership and advancement of the organization. Rinebold will join LeadingAge Indiana following more than a decade of service in the healthcare industry. During the last eight years, he has served in a leadership role with the Indiana State Medical Association as director of government relations and chief advocate, where he represented the interests of the ISMA’s 8000+ physician membership both at the state and federal level. Rinebold will guide one of the leading associations in the nation aimed at advancing the well-being of the aging population in the state of Indiana and will play a major role in leading advocacy efforts on behalf of the highly diverse not-for-profit members. Before working within the public service realm in Indiana, he worked in the private sector providing services for sports television broadcasts for Turner Sports Inc. during the 2000 Lake Placid and 2001 Brisbane Goodwill Games. Rinebold has also worked for Information & Display Systems in Jacksonville, Florida, which included clients such as the National Basketball Association, PGA of America, and Turner Sports, as well as the U.S. Open, French Open, Wimbledon Championships and the Australian Open.
