Indianapolis-based product development company GlassBoard LLC is expanding. The company says it will invest nearly $1 million to grow its downtown office and add up to 36 high-wage jobs by 2020.

GlassBoard partners with new companies to help them design products, services and processes. The company is reporting a 50 percent increase in revenue each quarter over the last nine months. It currently works with companies in Indiana, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas and New York.

The company is hiring for management and engineering-related positions, which the Indiana Economic Development Corp. says will pay wages more than 50 percent higher than the state’s average. GlassBoard currently has five employees.

The company, founded in 2015, works with clients to help develop prototypes with the goal to turn them into marketable products. It is led by Randy Parmarlee, who has worked with companies including Fishers-based Recovery Force and Indianapolis-based DoubleMap, and Grant Chapman, a systems engineer and program manager.

The IEDC has offered GlassBoard up to $380,000 in conditional tax credits and training grants based on the job creation plans. The city of Indianapolis is also supporting the project.
