RV Manufacturer to Open New Facility

Subscribe NowState and local officials will join representatives from Shipshewana-based Highland Ridge RV for the official opening of the company’s new manufacturing facility Monday. The $5.7 million expansion is expected to create up to 65 jobs by 2019.
When the expansion was announced in February, the company said the 92,000 square-foot facility would allow for production of its light and ultra light trailers to double.
Indiana Economic Development Corp. President Jim Schellinger will be on hand for the opening, which is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. in Shipshewana. You can view a time lapse video from July showing the construction of the facility below:
