She has spent the last decade as a partner and practice group chair with the law firm Calfee, Halter & Griswold LLP. She also conducted civil and criminal U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration investigations and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, or HIPAA, investigations. On top of her law firm experience, Davidson served as a healthcare fraud coordinator while serving as assistant U.S. attorney with the Department of Justice. In this role, she worked daily with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, fiscal intermediaries, contractors, private insurers and state agencies responsible for healthcare billing fraud and abuse oversight and enforcement. She received her law degree from Boston University Law School and her undergraduate in journalism from Marquette University.
