Vincennes University has appointed Jasmine Garmon director of student activities. She previously served as coordinator of Young Alumni and Social Media in the Office of Alumni Relations and Alumni Giving at Tennessee State University in Nashville. Prior to that Garmon served as office manager in the Office of Student Affairs at TSU where she managed 23 students in workshops, organized a Student Leadership Institute, and assisted in Judicial Affairs. She also served as an intern in the Tennessee 107th General Assembly where she recommended new education programs to improve after-school programs in the Memphis City School Corporation. Garmon holds a master’s degree in Professional Studies and a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Tennessee State University.
