Purdue Names Bobinski Next Athletics Director

He currently leads the athletics department at Georgia Tech. The school had been searching for months for the successor to Morgan Burke, who has been on the job since 1993, a tenure that surpasses any other AD in Purdue history. Bobinksi’s previous experience includes AD stints at Xavier University and the University of Akron. In February, Burke announced plans to retire at the end of the 2016-2017 school year. Purdue has been working with a national firm to assist in the hunt for the next leader of Boilermaker sports teams.
