Community Home Health Services will take on Alpha and its 120 employees and the provider says there will be no reduction of staff.
The transition is set to take effect September 30th, at which point, Alpha President Doug Klink will become vice president of Community’s post-acute services. Community’s Lisa Collins will remain executive director of Home Health Services.
Community Ambulatory Care Division President Tony Javorka said "the union between Community and Alpha will prove to be very beneficial to home health patients throughout central Indiana. This strengthens and expands the impact of Community’s home care team at a time when home care is increasingly in-demand while also allowing us to help Alpha’s patients connect more easily to our full continuum of care.”
Alpha has patients in 21 central Indiana counties and Community says there will be no disruption of care during the transition.
