IWU Names First Football Head Coach

He has spent the past four years on the coaching staff at Wheaton College in Illinois, as defensive coordinator and defensive backs coach. He will remain with the school this season, ahead of IWU launching its football program in 2017. IWU announced the addition of football as the 18th intercollegiate sport in April. Langs will be responsible for building the football program from the ground up. The first games likely coming in 2018. The team is aiming to join the NAIA’s Mid-States Football Association.
