Indianapolis-based hhgregg Inc. has officially named Robert Riesbeck chief executive officer. He had been serving in the role on an interim basis since February. Riesbeck joined hhgregg in 2014. He will continue to serve as chief financial officer as well until a replacement is appointed. Before coming to the appliance, electronics and furniture retailer, he served in leadership roles for companies including Sun Capital Partners and Marsh Supermarkets. He succeeds Dennis May, who announced his resignation in February after leading hhgregg since 2009. He had been with the company for 17 years.
