A Louisville-based developer is proposing a $150 million commercial, medical and retail development in what he calls the "truly ideal" location of Jeffersonville. Denton-Floyd Real Estate Group Partner Brandon Denton says the project is coming together at a key time for Jeffersonville: the Ohio River Bridges project is nearing completion, the nearby River Ridge Commerce Center is continuing to grow and the city’s downtown is experiencing a resurgence.

Key features include an 18-acre medical campus, senior housing, four hotels, a cinema, bank, restaurants, retail locations and a convenience store.

Denton says site preparation has already begun and infrastructure work could begin next spring. "Our vision for this development is to meet current and future demand for consumers in Jeffersonville and the surrounding area, including Louisville due to the convenient access that will provided by the new bridge this fall. Bridgepointe Commons will be a destination point for families to eat a nice dinner, catch a movie and do some shopping. There will also be well placed hotels for out of town executives visiting the booming River Ridge Commerce Center next door."

Denton-Floyd is also involved with other properties throughout the region, including M. Fine Village in New Albany, Bridgepointe Crossing in Jeffersonville and 20 additional properties in Louisville and Lexington.
